Well, I’m pretty damn happy that I still have a job! I was pretty concerned when I realized earlier at GeekCon that I forgot to call in and let them know that I wanted to book a vacation day off. I called work and explained the situation with honesty that I just completely forgot to call in, and of course I apologized. My boss said that I was such a hard worker and a great person and he forgave me, but he also said only this once. So, I’m feeling quite relieved. Anyways, I just got off the phone with Tara and she's on her way over for movie night. GeekCon was such a disaster, but at least I know we’ll have a much better time not being in the rain and watching a movie together.
