Today is the happiest day of my life, she said yes! Me and Tara are now officially engaged. Everything was so surreal when I proposed to her. The ocean, the rain, and the nighttime sky. It was all just so perfect.
When I took the ring out and asked her if she would marry me, Tara was in so much awe. I took the breath right out of her. She even had tears dripping down her face. She pulled herself together and nodded her head, and then she said yes.
She looked at the ring and said that it was so beautiful. I'm glad she liked it. I bought it from a reputable jeweler on my way back from work a couple of days before we left Willow Creek.
After Tara finished admiring the ring, she gave me a kiss and took me by surprise by jumping into my arms. It felt so good holding her. I told her that I loved her with all of my heart, and she said that she loved me with all of her heart too.
Well, this is it. Me and Tara really are a pair, and we're gonna get married sometime down this road. I'm the happiest person in the world right now. I'm so happy that I found my soulmate, Tara. Forever us, and forever our love shall last.
