So, it's been a little while now since I joined the community. I have met a couple of my cousins and made a few acquaintances, but I think it's time to really get out there and meet some folks! Tonight, I decided to go back to the Blue Velvet where I originally met my cousins Cassi and Victoria for some good times. I love the place, it seems very happening.
I got the courage and actually played a bit of the piano in front of the bar crowd. Heh, it turned out much better than the crowd I performed for at work. I had a couple drinks with a fellow by the name of Stephon, he seems like a fellow I would hang out with. The guy is a joke cracker, hehe, he pulled out some pretty damn good jokes.
Near the end of the night, I also met another local named Eliza. We had a short but casual conversation by the bar. We didn't get to find out much about each other because it was just so late and we were both pretty drained. Perhaps if we meet again we will have longer chat.
It was a pretty awesome night, and I'm looking forward to meeting more people and finding some friends in the community. It's tough being the new guy and barely knowing anybody.
