After taking a quick nap once I got home from work as my first day as an Open Mike Seeker, I indeed decided to head out for a few drinks. I went to a nice bar called the Arid Ridge. It has a pool! I spent at least 50 bucks on booze, I drank right into the morning. I also happened to meet that local girl again, Genevieve, from the Rattlesnake the other night. We got into a pretty deep conversation, she had a few drinks herself. I got to learn a little more about her as we drank into the morning. She opened up and said she has a hard time with commitment. Oh well, each to our own, she still seems like a pretty cool girl.
