After I finished my drink, I went to chill on the couch. Tara joined me shortly after. We were talking about how wonderful it was to be back home.
"Damn, how I ever missed relaxing on this couch!" I said to Tara.
Tara laughed. "Ricky's beer-drinking couch!"
I winked at Tara. "You betcha!"
As me and Tara continued to chill on the couch and talk, she was getting a little flirty.
"You know, Ricky," Tara said as she was giving me a flirty look with her hand raised. "We haven't done much for romance while we were away."
"Yeah, I know," I replied. "Trying to survive really kept us busy."
I really missed the romantic times me and Tara shared together. We never did get a chance for much romance in the world of the future because it was a brutal place, and we had to focus on surviving.
"Do you want to cuddle?" Tara asked as she continued to look at me with her flirty eyes.
"Yes!" I replied. "I just wanna hold you and never let go."
Tara moved right next to me and placed her head on my shoulder. "I love you, Ricky."
"I love you too, Tara," I replied as I wrapped my arms around her.
As me and Tara were cuddling, a thought came to my mind.
"Tara, what about Tigger?" I asked.
Me and Tara stopped cuddling and were looking at each other with a great deal of concern.
"Oh no," Tara responded. "I forgot about him."
"Don't feel bad because so did I," I said.
"We better go to my place right away and check on him," Tara replied.
