A Drink Nighty Night

Me and Tara left my parent's house. I took her home, and now I'm just back at my place. I'm just having a nice cold drink of good booze before I head to bed. I got the day off tomorrow. I'm thinking I might head down to Chestnut Ridge. Since Tara has now adopted a unicorn, I'm thinking of maybe purchasing a horse. Me and Tara could go do some riding together.

I finished my drink, and then something happened. I felt it again. Something awful has happened in the so-called world of the present. Its impact feels so devastating. I can feel the mortal wound that was inflicted upon the thread of my time getting deeper.

I know that time is out to erase me from existence. I have to fight back. Me and Tara have a life to live together. We're getting married soon. We're going to start our own family. We're going to create a lifetime of memories together. Whatever is happening in that so-called world of the present is clearly not good, and its impact can be felt here in 1994. However, no matter how bad this gets, I have to keep fighting...
