I'm really loving the music that's playing at the beach bar right now. It's what I call chill music. Also, Me and Tara have already had a couple of nice cold ones! Music and booze go well together.
"Look at us, babe," I said to Tara. "We're here in Sulani and enjoying ourselves not having to worry about surviving."
"It's so nice, Ricky," Tara replied. "I like when we get to spend time together and have fun like this."
"You know," I said. "Right now just brings back memories of when we first met at the Oasis."
"It totally does, Ricky," Tara replied. "You approached me and introduced yourself."
"That took a lot of courage!" I said to Tara. "You have no idea how nervous I was!"
Tara laughed.
I was pretty damn nervous when I approached Tara at the Oasis. I couldn't stop thinking about her when I first saw her at the Blue Velvet back in February 1992. When I finally had my chance to introduce myself to her at the Oasis a few months later, I was just so ready to faint, lol!
