I gave Tara a call at work a little while ago to see if she wanted to join me at the Solar Flare for some drinks. She said that she would drop by after she finished up with her shift. So, I'm just having some more drinks while I wait for her. I ordered a glass of wine because it's been ages since I last had any. Although I like wine, I prefer other drinks such as beer and vodka. However, sometimes a glass of wine does hit the spot.
As I was drinking my wine, this older lady who was sitting near me started talking to me. She was telling me that she likes to come here for some drinks from time to time because it helps her clear her mind from all of the stress that she has to deal with in her life. She seemed like a pretty cheerful person. I would've never guessed that she was under a lot of stress, but I guess some people can cover it up very well.
After me and the lady finished talking, I started staring into my glass of wine. I was thinking about how awesome it was to be back home. It felt so soothing to sit back, chill, and have a drink.
Anyways, I just finished up with that glass of wine, so I'm gonna go and grab another drink while I continue waiting for Tara. She still has a couple more hours left of work to go before she can join me here at the Solar Flare. Tonight is gonna be a night of drinking and celebrating our return home!
