Me and Tara were outside and talking, and then it came across my mind, "What about Genevieve, Stephon, and Brian?"
Me and Tara were both so happy and excited to be back home that we forgot about our friends.
"Shit," I said to Tara. "We made it home, but what about Genevieve, Stephon, and Brian?"
"Oh no," Tara replied. "We were the only ones by the portal when we returned."
"I know," I said. "We should start making some calls."
"I'll check on Genevieve," Tara replied. "You check on Stephon and Brian."
I can't believe that we forgot about our friends. The last memory I have of Genevieve and Stephon is just before me and Tara got pulled through the portal in the world of the future. They were both lying on the ground unconscious. As for Brian, we never did find him...
